Maitake is a mushroom originally found in Japan, were it has been harvested for centuries. Until recently, the Maitake could not be picked in the wild. Given the high value of this fungus in the Eastern pharmacopeia, it seems that those who found it were "dancing with joy" at the time of their discovery, hence the nickname dancing mushroom! Since 1979 however we know how to grow it, and this is when it started to reach our continent for the greatest pleasure of the therapists.
Maitake is a mushroom that has the ability to :
- Enhance resistance to stress,
- Support the immune system, particularly in cases of cancer,
- Lower blood pressure,
- Helps to treat high cholesterol, hypertryglycérides and disorder of the immune system.
