AROMAVITA 55 is a powerful and balanced composition. Its active ingredients and modes of actions rivals those of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Wintergreen being 98% methyl salicylate, is converted into salicylic acid (the active metabolite of aspirin) within 5 minutes of being massaged onto the skin. It is thus an excellent antirheumatic essential oil. However, it is recommended that this oil be diluted before use.
As such, there is three additional and complementary oils to the mixture. The first is a recent discovery: the Madagascar Katrafay. Its name means "reliever of pain," and it contains ishwarane, a unique anti-inflammatory sesquiterpene.
The second is the Bay Laurel, which reinforces the mixture's composition through its eugenol and methyl eugenol, which are great analgesics and anti-inflammatories.
The third and final oil is Lemon Eucalyptus. It is the ideal complement for Wintergreen. It is well tolerated by the skin and contains citronellal, a terpene aldehyde, which halts inflammation through direct action mediated by electron transfer and local vasodilation.
Suggested Use
Adults (≥ 18 years):
Add 2 drops to 5 ml of neutral vegetable carrier oil and apply to affected area up to 3 times per day.
